UK games chart: No new tricks needed for FIFA Street

There's a new entry in the top three in this week's ELSPA UK games chart. EA's FIFA Street football continues to lead the way ahead of Sony's Gran Turismo, but Ubi Soft's multi-format action game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory jumps straight in below them. Microsoft touts boggling figures for XP SP2 installs

Following unprecedented publicity and effort Microsoft is saying that it has distributed 106 million copies of Windows XP Service Pack 2 in the past two months. Of these 90 million were downloaded via Automatic Update whilst another 16 million copies have been distributed via CD. IBM opens European RFID lab

IBM has opened its own RFID Testing & Solution Center based at La Gaude in France. This will be the third such centre in the world, the others being located in in Gaithersburg in the US and Tokyo, Japan.
