Belgian virus author arrested

Gigabyte, one of the few women in the male-dominated world of the virus-writing underground, has been arrested. The 19-year-old author of viruses such as Coconut, Sahay and Sharp, was arrested by the Belgian police force last Monday evening in her home town of Mechelen, according to reports. Redesigned iPod nano faces delay - another analyst

A second analyst has told Apple investors that a 'redesigned' iPod nano will be delayed by up to two months, reaching shop shelves in November rather than September as they had previously expected. Baird Equity Research's Tristan Gerra cites a 31 per cent drop in NAND prices as evidence that demand for the flash memory chips is not as high as it would have been had Apple begun buying up stocks in preparation for the launch of a new version of the portable music player.
