Broadband data capping prevents communism!

In the light of furore around NTL's decision to introduce a 1Gb per day limit on data downloaded through its residential broadband service, the company is claiming support from major player, Juniper Networks - a company claiming to route 65 per cent of the world's broadband traffic. Tesco sells Apples

Tesco has dedicated an area of one of its superstores to selling Macs, iPods and accessories. If successful, separate Apple zones will be created in other Tesco Extra stores nationwide. BT rumoured to be eyeing PlusNet with takeover view

PlusNet has declined to comment on a report that it is in talks about the possibility of a takeover by BT Retail. Sun bundles Java ES development tools with Solaris

Sun Microsystems has announced it will be bundling the Java Enterprise Systems (Java ES) and its suite of developer tools with the Solaris Operating System. The move, which has been expected for some time, is part of the company's open-source strategy for Solaris and provide programmers with a complete development environment.
