Opera Software has finished polishing the new version of its desktop browser - Opera 7. The Norwegian company describes version 7 as a substantial upgrade, with the browser being rewritten from the rendering engine up. EU questions could cripple Vista in Europe

Microsoft complains that the EU's attitude could delay the launch of Vista in Europe and harm security protection Microsoft has said EU objections to Vista could severely compromise the security of its flagship operating system. The situation began when the EU sent a series of questions to Redmond about aspects of the planned operating system.
