EU copies copyright law to the Net

A European Parliament committee has voted to extend copyright protection native to traditional media to the online world of the Internet, cell phones, digital television and digital music players. The vote was taken at the bidding of consumer groups and the technology industry, worried that tighter controls would narrow consumer choice technological progress, and the music industry, concerned with protecting artists' rights and royalties. The Vista keygen 'hoax' script causes confusion

The programmer who wrote a controversial VB script, which was claimed could unearth Windows Vista activation keys, has admitted the script was a hoax. Others, however, claim that the script works perfectly fine.
