Hynix intros GDDR4 DRAM

Korean memory manufacturer Hynix Semiconductor has announced the availability of the world's first 512 Megabit GDDR4 DRAM. The company claims that new chips provide the world's fastest and highest density graphics memory. Sony has finally announced the launch dates and pricing for the much anticipated PlayStation 3. A raid on a gang of Taiwanese counterfeiters, operating from the San Gabriel Valley in California, exposed a stash of software that included dodgy copied of Windows Me, 98, NT Server and Office 2000.
