AMD has set out a new range of its desktop processors with the emphasis on low power consumption. The company has announced new energy efficient AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual-core, AMD Athlon 64 and AMD Sempron processors, based on the new socket AM2 design. Nintendo previews Revolution's one-handed wireless joypad

Nintendo has finally revealed one of the defining features of its next generation console the Revolution - a wireless one-handed joypad. For weeks gamers have been trying to decipher the meaning behind Nintendo President Satoru Iwata's revelation that the company's next console would not follow a traditional path. With denial of service attacks on servers an ever-increasing threat, Motorola has stepped up to provide a software system that can analyse network data and provide a visual representation of possible attacks. The Motorola Intrusion Vision provides a single visual representation of network data and correlates "attack data" to let network operators know of a serious attack. Denmark considers separating iTunes store from iPod

According to reports, the Danish government is being petitioned by native companies to follow France and force Apple to break its tight integration of iTunes and the iPod and make its music store DRM-interoperable. Ars Technica reports that the country's largest telco TDC and supermarket Maersk - both of whom operate online music services - have urged Denmark to follow France and introduce legislation that ensures DRM interoperability.
