Sasser and Phatbot worm writers arrested in Germany German police have confirmed that on Friday they arrested a teenager in connection with the outbreak of the `Sasser` worm. Sven Jaschen, 18, from Lower Saxony is also reported to have been responsible for all 28 versions of the 'Netsky' worm which has been causing havoc in the world's PCs since February. In a seemingly related move, the police in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg have arrested a 21-year-old man who is said to be behind `Agobot` and later as `Phatbot` worms. ...more Sony PlayStation news round up In one big dollop of news, we cover Sony's new PlayStation portal, the launch of the PS One and which games will be released with the PlayStation 2 on 24 November. The company also announced ColdFusion MX, a new version of the server scripting technology it acquired when it merged with Allaire last year. The tools will be the same as offered for Windows and Linux developers and a beta version will be released later this year.
