Adobe has introduced new tools for embedding 3D images into PDF files, but not if you are a Mac user. Acrobat 3D is designed to make it easy for people who work with 3D models to convert them from the major CAD formats into PDFs. The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is to set up a bad patent chart - with a view to bringing its patent busting squad to bear on the top 10. In a kind of perverse Patent Idol contest, the EFF is asking the public to vote on the worst software and internet related patents to build up a chart of bad patents. Kids get ID cards - Blue Peter badges revived

Blue Peter badge holders will soon begin receiving ID cards that restore their free access to almost 200 attractions across the UK.
