Korea to create all-standard mobile city

Not content with building a Linux city, South Korea has now announced plans to create a 'mobile paradise'. Later this year the country's government will designate an area where almost all wireless technologies will be available, enabling people to stay permanently connected and, more importantly, enabling businesses to field-test their products. Dell has moved quickly to distance itself from the from the suggestion made yesterday that it was sanctioning the loading of a version of desktop Linux for sale throughout Europe. AMD inks deal with XenSource for virtualisation package

As part of its campaign to land those big company accounts, AMD has announced that it has signed a deal with XenSource, to port Xen, the leading open-source virtualisation software to AMD64 range.
